Why I am opposed to universal health care

I work in health care as a provider.  I see health care from insurance through patient care to billing.  I am also a consumer.  I have a better perspective than a politician sitting behind a desk, far removed.  I am speaking my mind without motivation to gain votes or contribution money or perhaps to trade a vote later on.
I have no reason to spin or manipulate facts.
CNN recently released new data stating the highest population that abuses the ER are Medicaid patients.  This population has access to providers.  This population also does not have to pay for their care.  Obama's health care plan would extend these benefits to more people, who would in turn abuse the system.  Since this study  was released Obama has not commented on health care to my knowledge. He canceled his health care speech in Seattle which happened to be a day following the CNN segment.
It is widely accepted that when people pay for something they're more mindful of costs.  So exactly the opposite occurs when health care is free or government sponsored.  I have experienced this multiple times with numerous patients. I know what I am talking about.  It is absurb how vast the abuse is and how it can bankrupt the system because it goes unchecked.
